Fun, Hiking and Friends. Let's escape the city and take in some of Mother Nature’s beautiful Spring offering and the rising temperatures.
Once we reached the peak of our hike we will take a rest, refuel with your snack, and also play with some light asana work, pranayama and meditation. Then continue down the mountain to a local restaurant where will enjoy a short happy hour and then our Family-Style food.
We have selected a delicious menu with vegetarian options for all us to enjoy. Drinks are not included in the price but everyone is welcome to enjoy as many libations as you like. Sorry no children for HikeDay

10:30 am Hike up to Bull Hill Peak - (MONEY SHOT you can actually see Manhattan at this look out.)
At the Peak: light asana, meditation, breathwork, eat your snack/lunch
5 pm Hudson House River Inn Happy Hour followed by a 5:30pm Prix-Fixe Meal (menu below)
Train Departs Cold Spring Station 7:18 pm from (if you would like to make other travel arrangements please let us know and we will work something out.)

OUR MEAL AT HUDSON HOUSE RIVER INN
As part of your reservation, we've arranged a prix-fixe meal at the Hudson House River Inn for all of us to enjoy together. All tax and tips are included as well. Hudson House River Inn is located right on the Hudson River. How cool!
Beer and booze are NOT included.

Homemade Burrata w/plum tomatoes, roasted red peppers, baby greens & fresh basil & extra virgin olive oil.
Fresh Arugula & Beet Salad w/radicchio & balsamic vinaigrette.
Homemade Maryland Crab Cakes w/dijon mustard sauce
FOUR ENTREE OPTIONS
Chicken Milanese over baby arugula, topped with goat cheese & a red quinoa white bean corn relish
Sesame Pan Seared Sashimi Tuna served rare over wilted baby spinach drizzled w/wasabi sauce & served w/ginger soy
Grilled Certified Angus Sirloin 8oz, topped w/Bordelaise sauce
($5 surcharge in this entree. You can just pay me cash that day.)
Roasted Vegetable Primavera* marinated w/roasted garlic & extra virgin olive oil served w/over red quinoa & fresh sauteed spinach

What to bring
Small Hiking Pack
Snack/Light lunch (not provided) - Think about how you want to reward yourself for hiking, snacks, energy bars, fruit...etc
A friend or two
Rain* gear (?) - Check the weather the night before and consider bringing something lightweight and breathable.
Light warm layer for if or when/if the temperature does change.
Hiking footwear -Wearing shoes is optional and I highly recommend trying a little barefoot hiking. I had the pleasure of canyoning bare-foot with Wim Hof in the Spanish Pyrenees July 2017. It was awesome.!!

What happens if it rains?
We are planning this day for rain or shine. We are obviously hoping for great Spring weather but if Mother Nature has something else in mind we will adjust accordingly. If we need to cancel the entire trip because of severe and unsafe weather then we will refund your money.
Due to reservation policies, we have a 72 hour no refund cancellation policy. This translates to three days prior so end of day Wednesday so May 1st you can cancel your reservation for a refund.

Yoga Vida Farms | June 20th-23rd
We are excited for the invite to Yoga Vida Farms for a long-weekend retreat.
Connect to nature, new friends and yourself during this 4-day upstate getaway.

Daily yoga classes
Chef Davis Lindsey will be preparing 3 vegetarian meals which happen to be mostly vegan and gluten free. Optional snack and beverage add-ons available on site.

Note this retreat is open to and encouraging all-levels; beginners are welcome.
This retreat center is located on a 62 acre forest property in the Hudson Valley situated two hours upstate from downtown New York City. Transportation will be included.
