The Hike

We will be hiking ~7 miles through the Hudson Highlands Park around Mt. Taurus, aka Bull Hill. This first ~2 miles of this hike are steep, but doable. The last ~5 are all downhill. We will take the whole thing nice and slow and there will be plenty of time to rest. Be sure you wear good shoes and be prepared to work up an appetite!

We will begin our journey in Cold Spring, and hike our way to the trail head. We’ll climb up to the summit of Bull Hill to take in the scenery. From here it’s all downhill! Congrats, you made it!

We’ll take a break here to do some meditation, breathwork, and eat a quick snack. Once we are done taking in the incredible views, we will climb down the mountain and find our way to the Cornish Estate Ruins. When we’re done absorbing the history of this century-old estate, we will make our way back into town to explore until it’s time to get on the train!

Sorry No Children. If you would like to bring your dog please send us a message. If allowed, we need to coordinate with the MTA.

What to Pack

Bring a Snack/Lunch & Water

Along the hike we will stop and take in some nature, meditate, do some light stretching, some breathing practices and you can enjoy your lunch. Pack a lunch to reward you for all your efforts; snacks, energy bars, sandwich, chocolate, fruit, veggies...etc.
